Inspired by Kaare Klint's Faaborg Chair, Dick BjÖrk’s Zanzibar presents a contemporary take on the classic framed chair with a woven surface. The rounded rectangular shape was chosen to ensure that each piece, including the dining chair, is designed primarily for use with cushions, combining timeless elegance with modern comfort. Zanzibar incorporates our jute mesh. Despite its natural look and feel, jute mesh is made from durable UV stabilised polyethylene, a material which is recyclable and has been used in the outdoor furniture industry for decades.
