Povl Eskildsen
A product of the classic Danish furniture tradition, Povl’s interest in design in general and
furniture design in particular, started at a young age on the shop floor of his parent’s
furniture factory in Salling, Denmark. Povl studied architecture at the renowned Aarhus
School of Architecture. He initially worked with a number of Danish indoor furniture
companies before turning his sights on outdoor furniture. Working with among others,
Trip-Trap and Gloster, Povl brought a new sense of design into the outdoor
furniture industry, in particular in teak furniture, where his designs brought the
elegance and comfort that had been the norm in Danish indoor furniture for
decades to a category where heft and weight rather than design and comfort
had been key selling parameters.

Dick Björk

Dick´s interest in furniture design was ignited at an early age where he spent a considerable
amount of time in his parent’s iconic furniture shop in Helsingborg, Sweden. Starting in his
teenage years, Dick funded his passion for design by working after school and weekends
assembling furniture, a task that laid the foundation for his passion for perfecting even
the smallest of details. Dick went on to study metal work and trained as a cabinetmaker.
Having worked as a craftsman at some of Sweden’s leading furniture producers, Dick
turned to furniture design. His early work include pioneering mixed material
outdoor furniture for legendary Berga Form of Sweden.

Christian Skrydstrup Nørgaard

As a child, Kris faced physical challenges. Unable to compete in sports, young Kris spent
his spare time in his father's furniture workshop, crafting games and wooden toys to sell
for pocket money.
After completing an apprenticeship, Kris went on to manage AJ Iversen’s prestigious
furniture workshop in Copenhagen. In his pursuit for professional perfection,
Kris joined the Danish Technological Institute, where he helped establish
the Danish Furnituremakers Quality Control body, which he headed for
several years.
In the late 1960s, Kris partnered with entrepreneur Paul Wallevik to set up
Scanstyle-Mim in Ghana, the first high-end furniture manufacturing

company in a developing country.
Kris built, set up, and led furniture businesses across the globe. Kris’ lifelong
passion for furniture resulted in a vast catalogue of innovative designs.

Says Who is a Danish design studio founded by designers
Nikolaj Duve and Kasper Meldgaard in 2010. Based in the
town of Aarhus in Denmark, the studio specializes in creating
modern Scandinavian furniture and product designs. Their
design philosophy emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and
strong, clean lines. Says Who blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary
aesthetics, aiming to create pieces that are both timeless and innovative. Over the
years, the studio has collaborated with various well-known furniture brands,
helping them bring contemporary, accessible yet functional designs to a global
market.
